I first met Caroline a few years ago when she was the bridesmaid at another wedding I photographed. So it was a real honour to be invited to photograph her wedding earlier this year. Caroline’s wedding preparations took place at the family home in Chorley where Caroline was joined by her two bridesmaids, parents and brother. The  preparations were relaxed and happy with lots of smiles and laughs throughout the morning. As soon as Caroline was looking stunning and ready to go I headed over to the church were I was able to capture the arrival of the guests.

St Josephs Church in Chorley is a beautiful church for a wedding ceremony. It is spacious, bright and provides a great backdrop for some stunning wedding ceremony photographs. The ceremony itself was heartfelt, emotional and made special with a reading from Caroline’s Dad. It wasn’t long before the couple were introduced to everyone as the New Mr & Mrs and as thy walked down the aisle the couple were grinning from ear to ear. Outside the church everyone had confetti, ready to congratulate the couple.

The wedding reception took place at Oak Royal Hotel on the outskirts of Chorley. The couple arrived to a drink reception shortly followed by the wedding breakfast. After the breakfast, the sun was shining and with loads of time to spare Caroline, Stuart and myself headed off around the grounds of the Hotel to take some couple shots. Following our “Photo-shoot” the couple mingled with their guests and socialised until the evening guests began to arrive and party was about to get started. The party started with Caroline and Stuart taking their first dance together as man and wife. Caroline and Stuart’s first dance was something a little different. Caroline and Stuart enjoy ballroom dancing and had choreographed their own ballroom dance for their first dance. All their guests were impressed and wowed with their dancing skills and following the couples routine everyone got up on the dance floor to join them and everyone partied till late in the evening.

Caroline and Stuart’s wedding day was truly wonderful and a real pleasure to be a part of. Thank you Caroline & Stuart for having me as your wedding photographer. I wish you both a very long and happy future together.
