Wedding Photography at Park Hall Hotel Chorley
2020 has been a ‘funny’ year so far; a new storm each week for the first couple months, and then Covid-19 lockdown. With most of my remaining 2020 wedding couples having to reschedule their wedding to much further into this year, 2021 or even 2022 (if you’ve been affected by this whether you’re a current client of mine or not, my virtual door is always open if you would like to have a chat about anything or whether I am able to help).
I was lucky enough to have been able to photograph Katherine & Stephen’s wedding in March 2020 at Park Hall Hotel in Chorley, and just before lockdown was put in place. This was a truly lovely, and somewhat surreal, wedding spent with Katherine and Stephen, for the very last wedding ceremony at Park Hall Hotel before the country went into lockdown at the end of March. It felt a privilege, and quite honestly inwardly a little sad for me, to document a special day which none of us knew, from the registrars to the staff of Park Hall, when any of us would be back. However, that didn’t dent the energy of myself or this really fantastic couple and their guests. Everyone was in high spirits and there were plenty of smiles all round.
The Park Hall Hotel boasts gorgeous gardens and a lake within the grounds, perfect for romantic couples photographs and following the lovely ceremony in the Medieval Banquet Hall, we made use of these areas for some shots of the happy couple. This wedding was such a beautiful wedding to be a part of, and I’m so happy for them both that it was still able to go ahead despite all the worry leading up to the day. Congratulations to such a wonderful couple and their families.
