I have photographed a number of weddings at the Leyland Hotel and have loved every one of them and Lynne and Mark’s beautiful wedding was no exception.  A couple of months before the wedding, Lynne, Mark and their son James had their engagement shoot with me so I knew what an awesome family they are and that their wedding was going to be a great day.

I love kids at weddings as they really bring an extra dimension to the photographs, this is especially true when they are the Bride and Grooms family. James, Lynne & Mark’s son, is so full of life and a really friendly little chap he just lights up the room. From the moment he entered the bridal preparation room and discovered the little lego man on his button hole, right through to the speeches he was an absolute star.

The whole day went smoothly and everything ran on time, the weather was quite drizzly and damp when it came to the bride and grooms portraits so we had to get a little creative. As an experienced wedding photographer I was quickly able to adapt to the weather conditions and take a few photographs of the couple without them going far or getting wet! Despite the rain, the couple had the most awesome day and it was such a pleasure to be able to share it with them. I wish them the very best of luck for their future together and send a high five to James for being such a superstar that day, “dude you rock!”
