Ferraris Country House Hotel Wedding | Ferraris Wedding Photographs

Kathryn and Dean were recommended to me by a their Sister-in-Law, Rebecca. I know Rebecca through my connections with scouting, and our children attend the same school. So it was an absolute pleasure to meet and Kathryn and Deans and be their Ferraris Country House Hotel Wedding photographer.

I arrived at Farraris around 9am to document the bridal preparations and the weather was dry but with a threat of rain. The prospect of rain didn’t impact on the mood of the bridal party at all. Kathryn was calm and excited to be marrying Dean. As Kathryn was getting ready and married at Ferraris I managed to slip away for a few minutes between Kathryn having her make up done and putting her dress on, to get some shots of the guys. The guys were looking very dapper in their suits and I managed to get a few shots before the rain started.

Kissing!!!!

The ceremony was scheduled for 11:30am and everything was running on time. The ceremony was a beautiful and happy occasion with a lovely reading from Kathryn’s Daughter Amanda. Following the ceremony we managed to dodge the showers to get a few group shots and some photographs of the Bride and Groom in the hotel grounds. The highlight of the Bride and Groom photographs, for me, was when their niece and Kathryn’s son joined us. I was taking photographs of the small group when Kathryn and Dean shared a kiss at which point the children covered their eyes. This photograph has become one of my favourites as it sums up the love and fun of a great wedding.

Following the photographs the Bride & Groom had some time with their guests before sitting down to the wedding breakfast. The speeches took place before the meal and had everyone in stiches, in particular the Bride and the Groom’s mother.

All in all it was a wonderful wedding in a amazing location and I feel very privileged to have been chosen to document their perfect day. I wish Kathryn and Deal all the very best for their future and to thank them for being so patient in dodging the weather to get some awesome photographs.
