Dawn and Mark were married at Chorley Registry Office, Devonshire House in Chorley. Their wedding was a beautiful, very small and intimate ceremony involving the Bride, Groom and two witnesses. When I first met Dawn we did so in a pub on the opposite side of town to where she lives. Dawn explained to me that they wanted to keep things quiet and between themselves. There was some nerves in case anybody spotted us. However, she didn’t need to worry though as we were not seen and I am able to keep a secret, especially one as exciting as this!

On the day of the wedding Dawn and Mark arrived together looking radiant, excited and just a tiny bit nervous. We had just a short wait while the Bride and Groom had their pre-ceremony chats with the registrar and everything was put into place. The ceremony began with Dawn and Mike entering the room, hand in hand, closely followed by their parents, the witnesses. The ceremony was very special, intimate and individual to the couple. Following the ceremony, the couple signed the register before being presented with their marriage certificate. Their wedding ended with confetti and a few formal photos before they ventured off for a private meal.
