Leyland Hotel Pre Wedding Shoot – In Worden Park

As a Lancashire wedding photographer, I often do pre-wedding shoots with the couples whose weddings I’m shooting. Personally, I love these sessions as they provide an invaluable opportunity to get to know my clients a bit better, to get connected with them and they also give a great opportunity to have a casual chat about all their plans for their special day.

Two months before Kim and John got married we ventured out and about for their engagement session. The weather hadn’t been great for most of the weekend before Kim and John’s session, but we braved the threat of rain and headed out to Worden Park, an award winning park, based in Leyland Lancashire. I love Worden Park for engagement shoots as there are so many different locations and interesting features that provide a wealth of opportunities for photographs. From the Folly over the weir, the beautiful manicured gardens, the woodlands, the character filled buildings to the ponds and beyond. A photographer will never be stuck for fantastic locations here. I used to live near Worden Park as a youth so I know the park well and love spending time there. Being able to share that with my clients and produce stunning engagement photographs is something I treasure.

Prior to Kim and Johns engagement session, I hadn’t had a chance to meet with them since they booked with me. So it was great catching up with them both and hearing all about the plans for their wedding day. While we chatted about the day to come, I shared with them some valuable tips that would help them on the day and ensure everything ran smoothly without any of those little stresses that can occur. Something I like to do with all my engaged couples as quite often they are the little things brides forget, like bra strap marks with strapless wedding dresses!

Here are a few images from the shoot, be sure to look out for the blog of their wedding day. If you’re looking for a Lancashire Wedding Photographer, get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
